Today was a long day! Getting back into "the swing" of things really hits you about mid-week. Today, upon suggestion from my kids, we bought blankets from Wal-Mart (and gathered blankets, coats, etc. that we don't use, and rounded up a few from friends), and are donating them to the Union Gospel Mission in Fort Worth ((I'm planning another run to donate more stuff so if anyone else wants to donate--just let me know)) .
Tonight, Mikey requested family "drawing" time. We sit together on my bed and shout out topics or ideas, then we draw and compare our pictures. This is a picture of Lauren and Mikey drawing.
Cool. Never heard of anything like family “drawing” time. So cute that Mikey suggested it.
